Registered Managers, Deputy Managers, Senior Staff and Care Staff all experienced in the care of older people, provide 24-hour support in a professional and caring way.

Qualified and experienced staff undertakes the delivery of social care in accordance with each individual’s care plan, which is regularly reviewed. In addition physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy can be arranged via a resident’s own Doctor if required. We are also happy to arrange appointments as necessary with Dentists and Opticians.

Residents are also encouraged to retain the services of their own GP, dentist and optician, wherever practical, although alternative arrangements can be made if required.

Where appropriate residents are encouraged to retain the responsibility for their own medication, protected by the homes’ policies and procedures for dealing with medicines. A local chemist delivers medication when needed.

We encourage a full and active lifestyle wherever possible, but above all each resident is an individual and is encouraged to exercise choice in all aspects of their care. We want residents to feel very much at home, with rules and regulations kept to the minimum.
